Sophie Adams (b. 1997, Boston, MA) is a photographer and multimedia artist whose work explores themes of bodily autonomy and healing through cinematic portraiture and fiber. After studying interdisciplinary, technology-focused arts in Colorado, she returned to the Boston area, where she maintains a studio in Central Square, Cambridge.
Her work has been exhibited in both temporary and permanent displays across the United States. Self-employed, she collaborates in-house with a high-end fashion boutique on Beacon Hill and works with clients ranging from major real estate firms to leading scientific institutions. She balances her independent practice with her role as Membership & Visitor Services Manager at the Griffin Museum of Photography.
